Welcome to the website of the Law Office of Stephen Rubin. You will find information about my practice and the services I offer. I strive to provide the professional skill, experience and determination of the best large firms without the impersonal attitude or layers of staffing that can make any project difficult and expensive.
I bring unique credentials to the task. I was a tenured professor of law at the University of Florida, adjunct professor of law at Georgetown University, and visiting lecturer in London and Mexico City. I have authored books and articles on topics including antitrust, intellectual property, trade regulation and administrative law. Following teaching and government service, I became a partner in a national law firm where I headed the antitrust and intellectual property practice groups. I continue to lecture and write on these legal topics, litigate cases, and serve as a special master and as a mediator by federal district court appointment. As my relationship with individual clients has expanded, I have taken on the gratifying role of advisor. I am involved today in technology startups, financing and acquisitions; the preparation or review of contracts, licenses and leases; employment issues; and litigation of infringement and commercial claims.
I have been given Martindale-Hubbell’s highest AV professional rating.
If you are already a client, I hope the information you find here is useful. Everyone else is invited to turn the virtual pages and to contact me for further information about my services.
